A recent discussion in an informal mailing list of friends prompted me to start this blog. The background of the discussion is posted here.
No one in the world would use the force and put legal hurdles to suppress the message of their opponents unless they lack arguments. This suppression is against logic and against their own interest to “expose” the opponent. Every attempt that is made to suppress the message of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at is another proof of the utter defeat and an acceptance that they devoid any rationale and arguments in favour of their distorted beliefs. Hence 1974 constitutional amendment, and then in 1984 martial law ordinance XX.
As time permits me, insha’Allah I’ll post some interesting facts here and will welcome any comments.
SHOULD 34 YEARS LEGISLATIVE PERSECUTION AND DISCRIMINATION OF MILLION OF PAKISTANI AHMADIS END NOW WILL NAWAZ ZARDARI DECLARE THEIR POSITION?
In 1974, 34 years human rights of millions of Pakistanis – Ahmadis were snatched by legislative amendments i.e. 17th Amendment into the 1973 Constitution. Ahmadis are citizens of Pakistan equally like any other Pakistani, not aliens, should and must not be treated ruthlessly and inhumanly. Ahmadis’ right to assembly and vote was snatched and they has been discriminated with the power of legislative. Will Mr Nawaz and Mr Zardari clear their position whether they feel like restoring their rights in the name of their slogan democracy and independence of judiciary?
Ahmadi’s r free to contest on minority seats then why u clain that their human rights had been snatched?
“free to contest on minority seats” is an oxymoron.
